My client is a dynamic, fast-growing technology company providing technical services to the games industry. They are now searching for a Business Development Manager who will work remotely from the UK and are offering a competitive salary, bonuses and benefits to the successful candidate.

Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Drive the acquisition of new business opportunities, focusing on signing new videogames publishers.
  • Sign new retail opportunities focussing on key markets.
  • Close contracts with support of the legal team
  • Attend industry events as required

Market Research & Industry Analysis

  • Provide updates on industry developments, competitor activities
  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential partners, generate leads and growth opportunities

Product and Platform Advocacy

  • Work with internal teams to communicate customer and partner needs
  • Work with partners to ensure a clear understanding of how the platform benefits their business.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Ensure smooth integration of new partners with the support of key stakeholders.
  • Report back on client needs or conduct surveys across prospects.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • and present regular reports to the Director in line with KPIs and metrics
Skills

Skills required;

  • 3 yrs plus industry knowledge and expertise
  • network in the videogames industry ideally in the digital distribution space
  • commercial acumen
  • “hunter” mindset
  • experience in driving sales, lead generation, prospecting, closing deals
  • communication skills
  • organisational skills to manage multiple partnerships and deals simultaneously
  • with a pro-active approach and ability to work remotely
