I'm currently supporting a London based publisher in their search for a Production Director. This is a hybrid role (2/3) paying up to 90K GBP per annum plus benefits and bonuses.
The Production Director will ensure all requirements are met to support the goals of the release, continually moving projects forward and ensuring resource planning is being undertaken by the team.
Responsibilities;
* Being a leader who puts their teams first, passionate about problem solving and team success
* Spearheading internal and external planning to produce and own schedules, budgets for projects, communicating progress on current and upcoming milestones as well as overall progress to all stakeholders
* Working with the internal teams and our development partners to ensure milestones are adhered to and the vision of the project is delivered
* Overseeing the Milestone approval process supporting the Producers and Project Directors and ensuring deliverables are met
* Ensuring changes and concerns are communicated and addressed, skilfully navigating changes during the product lifecycle
* Providing clear detailed analysis on risks and areas for improvement along with suggestions
* Managing Producers and Senior Producers to grow their production skills and facilitate the release of the projects through marketing and QA
Requirements;
* Proven 360 Production experience, as a Production manager or greater
* Experience with platform holder requirements
* Experience with console submission and certification processes
* Experience managing live games and downloadable content deliverables on console
* Jira etc
* Extensive experience of managing relationships.
* Experience working with QA
* Project management experience (budget, scheduling, resource etc)
